Splashed some water over myself and carried on. The damp fabric stayed supple instead of feeling crisp against my chest.

The inland part of my route felt airless. Turning onto the waterfront, I could actually feel air through the shirt. Hadn't expected the difference to be so noticeable.

Walked the steep bits and jogged the rest. The tee was equally comfortable doing both.

They're unobtrusive when swinging my arms, and the material doesn't bunch into a thick fold at the elbow. Small detail, but I notice sleeves a lot.

At 62, a good week is three outings with a friend and a longer walk at the weekend. I don't need a promise about speed. I need a top that isn't rough, heavy or fussy once the morning warms up. Solar Lime has been a cheerful change from my plain shirts, and the gentle feel of the material is something I appreciate every time I put it on.

I was interested in the MITI Levante Eco rather than the graphics, although the graphics have grown on me. On the run, the useful qualities were the fine feel, flexibility and how readily moving air came through. I can't put a number on any of that. I can say I reached the cooldown without wanting to pull the shirt away from my back, which is usually an automatic habit.

Soft without feeling fluffy or thick. That's the best way I can put it.

The yellow green lines over the deep blue are what caught my eye. Nice to find a patterned running tee that also feels properly airy.

My old gym shirts have officially been demoted. This feels much nicer when I run.

Used this for a continuous tempo after a decent warm up. The fabric has enough give through the shoulders for an easy arm swing, and the torso didn't develop that heavy pulling sensation as the session went on. I still sweated plenty. It was the way the damp material moved that impressed me.

At first this was going to be my race day shirt. Then I wore it on a very ordinary Tuesday and realised saving it made no sense. The stretch is particularly nice when I'm warming up, doing arm circles or reaching to retie my hair. Once running, the fabric sits easily rather than making me aware of every movement. The Solar Lime design still makes me smile, even when the session doesn't.

I bought it for myself, my partner stole it for a Saturday parkrun, then ordered her own. Hers is a S, mine is L — both fit true to size. Good problem to have.

Took it on a sunrise trail run through the Dandenongs. No snags from branches, dried out fast after a creek-crossing splash. Sleeves don't ride up on the steep climbs.

Wore it for an easy shuffle after a hard weekend. I wanted something soft with no tight feeling around my upper arms. This was exactly that, and comfortable enough to leave on while walking for coffee afterwards.

I'm in my fifties and have no plans to win anything. Most of my running is a few miles before breakfast, and I used to think specialist shirts were wasted on me. What changed my mind was the feel of this one on a close morning. The fabric was soft, the sleeves moved with me and I wasn't fiddling with the front every time I slowed down. That's useful at my pace too.

Took this away for a weekend and it occupied almost no space. One run in sticky weather convinced me it had earned the place in my bag.

The fabric dries readily on the rack and takes up very little room in my running drawer. Boring reasons to like a shirt, but useful ones when you're trying to get out several mornings a week.

Honestly clicked Add to Cart expecting a flashy fast-fashion piece. Fabric weight surprised me — felt premium straight out of the bag. Sleeves are stitched flat (no scratchy seams), neckline holds shape after several washes. Ate my words and ordered the blue one too.
