No stiff feeling after a drink stop

Splashed some water over myself and carried on. The damp fabric stayed supple instead of feeling crisp against my chest.

That bit by the water

The inland part of my route felt airless. Turning onto the waterfront, I could actually feel air through the shirt. Hadn't expected the difference to be so noticeable.

Not just for fast days

Walked the steep bits and jogged the rest. The tee was equally comfortable doing both.

Less of the wet shirt feeling

The tee was definitely wet. It just didn't feel like a wet towel hanging off me.

One less thing to adjust

My watch, headphones and shoelaces got plenty of attention. The tee behaved itself.

No scratchy distraction

My inner arms can get annoyed by rough fabric. This felt smooth against them during a steady run, even once I was damp.

Nice for starting again

Back to short runs after years of doing very little. The shirt feels comfortable even when my running does not yet look comfortable.

My fourth rep was still terrible

The shirt did its job. My pacing needs a separate review.

The pleasant surprise was the sleeves

They're unobtrusive when swinging my arms, and the material doesn't bunch into a thick fold at the elbow. Small detail, but I notice sleeves a lot.

Worth checking chest measurements

Used the size chart rather than guessing from my height. Happy with how the tee sits across my chest and moves through the back. The close fit feels suitable for running without making me feel wrapped up.

Lunch break kit

Easy to roll into my work bag. Much less bulky than the cotton tee I used to take.

Sleeves, please

Never been a singlet person. This gives me the shoulder coverage I want without the thick, clammy feeling of my usual tees.

The photo favourite

The blue and yellow green combination looks great in our club photos. More importantly, I wasn't tugging it into place between every photo and the next bit of running.

The school run, then my run

Dropped the kids off and squeezed in a loop before work. The yellow green pattern is a bit more adventurous than my usual kit, but the real win was getting home without that soaked shirt stuck across my stomach.

First proper running shirt

Didn't know what Italian fabric was meant to feel like. Apparently very soft and not much like my old football tops.

Good feel, a touch long for me

Really enjoyed the fabric on an evening run. I'd personally take a slightly shorter hem because I'm short through the body. It didn't get in the way, just a fit preference that keeps this at four stars for me.

For the runs I actually do

At 62, a good week is three outings with a friend and a longer walk at the weekend. I don't need a promise about speed. I need a top that isn't rough, heavy or fussy once the morning warms up. Solar Lime has been a cheerful change from my plain shirts, and the gentle feel of the material is something I appreciate every time I put it on.

A fabric nerd's purchase

I was interested in the MITI Levante Eco rather than the graphics, although the graphics have grown on me. On the run, the useful qualities were the fine feel, flexibility and how readily moving air came through. I can't put a number on any of that. I can say I reached the cooldown without wanting to pull the shirt away from my back, which is usually an automatic habit.

Nice against the skin

Soft without feeling fluffy or thick. That's the best way I can put it.

Colour with a bit of thought behind it

The yellow green lines over the deep blue are what caught my eye. Nice to find a patterned running tee that also feels properly airy.

actually want to wear it

My old gym shirts have officially been demoted. This feels much nicer when I run.

Good for threshold work

Used this for a continuous tempo after a decent warm up. The fabric has enough give through the shoulders for an easy arm swing, and the torso didn't develop that heavy pulling sensation as the session went on. I still sweated plenty. It was the way the damp material moved that impressed me.

Friday evening escape

Laptop shut, shoes on, out the door. This is the tee I keep grabbing when the air still feels warm after work.

Bought the pattern, kept wearing the fabric

At first this was going to be my race day shirt. Then I wore it on a very ordinary Tuesday and realised saving it made no sense. The stretch is particularly nice when I'm warming up, doing arm circles or reaching to retie my hair. Once running, the fabric sits easily rather than making me aware of every movement. The Solar Lime design still makes me smile, even when the session doesn't.

Already in the rotation

Looks lively. Feels easy. Gets worn.

Now both of us own one

I bought it for myself, my partner stole it for a Saturday parkrun, then ordered her own. Hers is a S, mine is L — both fit true to size. Good problem to have.

Trail tested, approved

Took it on a sunrise trail run through the Dandenongs. No snags from branches, dried out fast after a creek-crossing splash. Sleeves don't ride up on the steep climbs.

A useful recovery day shirt

Wore it for an easy shuffle after a hard weekend. I wanted something soft with no tight feeling around my upper arms. This was exactly that, and comfortable enough to leave on while walking for coffee afterwards.

C

A small luxury for an ordinary runner

I'm in my fifties and have no plans to win anything. Most of my running is a few miles before breakfast, and I used to think specialist shirts were wasted on me. What changed my mind was the feel of this one on a close morning. The fabric was soft, the sleeves moved with me and I wasn't fiddling with the front every time I slowed down. That's useful at my pace too.

R
Ruby H.
Packing lighter

Took this away for a weekend and it occupied almost no space. One run in sticky weather convinced me it had earned the place in my bag.

C
Chloe N.
Less laundry bulk

The fabric dries readily on the rack and takes up very little room in my running drawer. Boring reasons to like a shirt, but useful ones when you're trying to get out several mornings a week.

Was a complete skeptic

Honestly clicked Add to Cart expecting a flashy fast-fashion piece. Fabric weight surprised me — felt premium straight out of the bag. Sleeves are stitched flat (no scratchy seams), neckline holds shape after several washes. Ate my words and ordered the blue one too.
