Is the ORUUN Running Tank suitable for hot and humid weather?

Yes. The ORUUN Running Tank is designed for running in hot and humid conditions. Its ultra-light construction and breathable technical fabric are designed to reduce unnecessary bulk and restriction as temperature, humidity and effort increase.

What is the ORUUN Running Tank made from?

The ORUUN Running Tank uses MAESTRALE ECO GRS fabric from MITI Spa in Italy. Made from 89% polyester and 11% elastane, the fabric uses post-consumer recycled polyester and was selected for its low weight, stretch, ventilation and breathability during high-output running.

How does the ORUUN Running Tank fit?

The ORUUN Running Tank has a performance-focused fit designed to sit cleanly on the body while keeping excess material to a minimum. Its stretch construction supports natural movement without requiring a loose or bulky fit.

What types of running is the ORUUN Running Tank designed for?

The ORUUN Running Tank is designed for warm-weather training, tempo sessions, intervals, long summer runs and race efforts, particularly when low weight, ventilation and freedom of movement are priorities.

What is ORUUN DRY FLOW™?

DRY FLOW™ is ORUUN’s performance approach for running in warm, humid and high-sweat conditions. In the Running Tank, it combines breathable technical fabric with ultra-light, minimal construction to prioritise ventilation and reduce unnecessary restriction during high-output running.

At the end of a long warm up

I usually regret my top choice before the actual session begins. Didn't have that feeling with this one.

The quiet upgrade

I didn't get a dramatic moment of revelation. I just stopped picking my older singlets as often. This one feels nicer on the skin, folds smaller and doesn't turn into a cumbersome layer once I get sweaty. Those are modest improvements individually. Added together over a week of training, they're enough to make it my preferred option.

Room to swing my arms

No fabric catching at the armpits when I pick the pace up. That is the main reason I choose tanks over tees.

Enough for me

Feels barely there across the shoulders. Enjoy wearing it.

Black doesn't have to be boring

The white sweep is the detail that sold it to me. Looks excellent in motion.

A touch long on me

Lovely fabric and the monochrome design is easy to wear. I'd take a little off the length for my proportions. It feels fine during running, so this is a small personal fit point.

No fuss at the shoulder

The straps sit comfortably without a heavy edge. I tend to notice those details after a few miles.

For an early group meet

Got there half awake and warmed up quickly. The singlet was one of the few sensible decisions I'd made that morning.

The useful part of a fine fabric

It moves into folds without becoming a thick ridge against the body. I noticed that stretching after the run and then realised it had been equally unobtrusive throughout. A small thing, but quite different from the stiffer tops I used to regard as normal.

For a humid session

There was already sweat on my chest before the first effort. The tank stayed soft where it touched and didn't bunch into a thick fold when I bent forward to recover. I care about that sort of comfort more than whether the fabric stays completely away from the body, because mine never does for long in this weather.

More fit examples, please

Like the light feel and clean design. Seeing it on a few different body shapes would make the size decision simpler. I was happy once I had it on, but took a while getting there.

A good steady day option

Comfortable along the flat and on the uphill finish. Nothing bunched around my shoulders when I started working harder.

The plain shorts partner

This tank makes my black shorts look like an actual kit choice. Very convenient.

An introduction to proper fabric

I'd never looked up who made a running fabric before. Tried this because the MITI Maestrale Eco sounded interesting. What I notice is a very fine feel and how freely the material moves when damp. I won't pretend to understand the manufacturing side, but I do understand when a top doesn't irritate me halfway through a run.

My arms have their own agenda

At the end of intervals my form gets untidy. At least the tank gives my elbows room to do whatever that is.

A race style I can train in

Very little weight and nothing over the shoulders. I like that I can enjoy those qualities on an easy day, not only when I pin on a number.

Easy to rinse after travel runs

I take a small amount of kit away and wash as I go. The low bulk and quick drying nature of the fabric make that much more practical.

Would prefer simpler care guidance

Very pleased with the material against my skin. I would just like the care information to be easier to find at a glance. I want to look after something this fine rather than guess with the washing.

L
Leo H.
Good runner, slightly close for lounging

I enjoy the fit while moving but would choose something looser for sitting around afterwards. The fabric itself is lovely. Four stars because my ideal top would do both quite as well.

Monochrome with movement

The white curve across the black tank is a great design. Different without needing a bright colour.

Still like the graphic

The white curve gives it an identity without making the whole outfit loud. That's exactly the balance I wanted.

Better for warm ups than expected

I could do all the usual arm movements without feeling a pull across my upper back. Nice before you've even started the session.

Suitable for a cautious comeback

Short jogs, plenty of walking, no ambitious targets yet. Comfortable kit helps me enjoy the routine while I rebuild it.

L
Lucas B.
Properly light

Picked it up and checked I hadn't left part of it in the bag.

My sort of graphic

Black and white, but with a bit of energy. Easy to pair with the shorts I already own.

A masters runner's priorities

At this point I know what annoys me in kit: coarse edges, heavy wet fabric and anything that pulls when I'm tired. This tank has been pleasingly free of those distractions on my regular training runs. I still pay attention to fit rather than assuming lightness solves everything, but the combination here works for me. The black and white design is also something I can wear without thinking about matching colours at six in the morning.

A softer contact point

Where my upper arms brush my sides, the material feels gentle. That makes a noticeable difference to my enjoyment of longer outings.
